Rwanda : Scented candles in support of Build Rwanda

Rwanda | Scented candles Build Rwanda project has launched a new product of scented candles for sale during this coming Christmas season as a way of raising funds for vulnerable people in Rwanda.

Build Rwanda project is based in Edinburgh, and was founded by Allan Walker. The project runs a number of projects that supports Rwandan genocide survivors and orphans.

The candles are made by Granny Sally’s Soap kitchen for Build Rwanda. The candles come in a tin and have approximately 35 hours of burn time. The candles are currently available in stock in three scents: Sweet Orange, Lemongrass &Tea Tree, and Citronella

“We are so pleased to support Allan Walker in his Build Rwanda project. We are thrilled to have gorgeous scented candles in stock in time for the Christmas period” said Amy Trumpeter of Kigali Crafts, a project that is currently promoting the new product.

Build Rwanda’s recent success has included a school uniform project for The Faith & Hope School Kacyiru, an outskirt in Kigali city.

Allan Walker has some amazing ideas for the future of Rwanda. He has been a great support to Kigali Crafts in both the good times, and the tough times. Build Rwanda have a similar ethos to Kigali Crafts, as they also believe in allowing people to work their own way out of poverty through education and enterprise. It is a privilege for us to have made this connection.
